Back in 1983,  Clyde Smith started Woodsmith Construction.  Although he primarily did remodels, he also worked on new homes, commercial buildings, schools and other construction work. For awhile he traveled, including completing construction jobs in California. However, he decided he liked being a father better than traveling, so he arranged his business to be able to stay close to home.

In 2010, two of his sons, Dan and Mike, bought the business from their dad.  Today, they continue Clyde’s legacy of quality craftsmanship in all their projects.  Clyde often helps them on jobs, contributing his skill and many years of experience.   Their brother, Corey, also works for the company.
